Babcock University, Nigeria and Valley View University, Ghana in collaboration with IEEE presents the SMARTBLOCK4AFRICA 2024 conference. The conference aims to foster dialogue and innovation in leveraging technological advancements for the sustainable development and security of African nations. One of the goals of the conference is the adoption of blockchain and other emerging technologies in sustaining Africa. The SMARTBLOCK4AFRICA 2024 Conference invites researchers, academicians, practitioners, and industry experts to submit their contributions to the discourse on "Emerging and Resilient Technologies in Building and Securing African Nations."

SMARTBLOCK4AFRICA 2024 is an in-person and virtual event and will feature technical papers & presentations, posters and workshops.
  • Prominent experts will be giving keynotes, plenary presentations and invited talks.
  • Best Posters and Papers in the conference will be eligible for an award.
  • Full papers will be considered for publication in the IEEE Blockchain 2024 Proceedings.
Conference content that meets IEEE quality review standards and format will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting & Indexing (A&I) databases.
